( 21 ) Alignment Switching



∞ . . . COURT SWITCHING

How To Apply:


NB ( Firstly, always be aware that when you drop a character, you can app them back in as whichever alignment you like and your application will be considered a new submission. )

Sometimes during a canon update/backdate, or just simply from playing and developing your character in game, your character's alignment will drastically shift. In the event that this happens, please use this page to request for an alignment switch.

Alignment switches are not taken lightly and we ask that no more than one (or at a stretch and for very good reasons, two) is requested every 12 months. You can switch if events during a canon update/backdate are especially significant or if your character's life in the Drabwurld has led them to a turning point.

For all characters switching alignments, the IC process is nearly the same as a canon update:
Your character will suffer a deep and overwhelmingly sudden urge to sleep whenever, wherever you decide. However, when you change alignment, your character will "fade" from sight into their new bedroom at the opposite court.

Please be aware that not all requests will be approved if you cannot provide adequate evidence of character development in the opinion of the app team.

If you are approved for an alignment switch, please add the request change to your application/info page which must be linked to on your journal, so other players are aware, and announce the switch on the OOC Community for the benefit of your CR.

A few conditions of the Alignment Switch are:
1) Only the character will fade during their deep sleep and be transported into their new bedroom at the opposite court. Their possessions will not unless on their person at the time.
2) You character can fade into the other court at any time during the seven days, but must remain asleep for all seven.
3) Familiars who were counted as a power during the application process or who have since qualified as such in-game will be transported with the character. Pets, however, will not.
