(24) The Story So Far

Another set of shardbearers arrives to a grand feast on the first of the month! The moon itself falls from the sky, and is guarded by several teams of Unseelie from capture by Seelie who mean to return it: for the fall of the moon has increased their power two-fold! The moon takes many forms and eventually eludes its Unseelie captors, making many give chase. Eventually, it is captured by two Seelie champions and returned to Ridire, who replaces it in the sky.
A group of shardbearers together meet Reynard on the battlefield before Maupertius, including Ganondorf and his forces from Mair, Grell, Lancelot, Alice, Berserker, Lumina, the Outsider, Zuko, and even Alyosha, under a different identity. After a long struggle, the Fox is eventually defeated, and Dragmire claims his castle Maupertius.
At the end of the month, the Black Shuck's howl announces the beginning of Samhain, several nights without a day during which all enmities are set aside! Both courts hold a grand gala on the plains of the Cathraon enjoyed by many, though the nature of the world changed during these nights such that in a single step, shardbearers could traverse the world, and enjoyed its many sights throughout the reprieve.
